December 18th: A Dash of Expectation

December 18th: A Dash of Expectation

Romans 8:19 - "For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed."

In the culinary world, the tiniest dash of spice can transform an entire dish, elevating its flavor profile. In the same manner, our spiritual journey is elevated by a dash of godly expectation. This eager expectation has the power to alter our perspective, infusing our everyday lives with a sense of purpose and divine destiny.

When we live with godly expectations, we align ourselves with the heart of creation, which groans and longs for the full revelation of God's children. This is not a passive wait, but an active yearning for God's kingdom to be manifested here on earth, through us, His children.

Living with expectation does more than just keep our hopes up; it amplifies our faith. It transforms our prayers from mere petitions to bold declarations. It urges us to live with intention, to act with compassion, and to be beacons of God's love in the world.

Ultimately, a life lived in eager expectation is one that constantly looks forward to the beautiful unfolding of God’s divine plan, celebrating each revelation and relentlessly pursuing His heart.
