Titus 2:12 - "It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age."
Each cherished dish has its specific recipe, a blueprint ensuring its taste remains consistent. Our life, designed by the Master Chef, has its divine recipe, focusing on self-control, uprightness, and godliness.
However, sticking to this recipe in a world filled with enticing shortcuts and tantalizing alternatives is challenging. By embracing God's recipe for us and saying "No" to ungodliness, we create a life that's both delightful and righteous.
Reflection Questions:
- Where have you deviated from God's "recipe" for your life, and how can you get back on track?
- What worldly passions challenge your self-control the most, and how can you resist them?
Morning Prayer:
Gracious God, guide me in following Your recipe for righteousness. Empower me to reject worldly temptations and embrace a life rich in godliness. Amen.
