1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
When bakers sift flour, they ensure that it's free of lumps, creating a smoother, more refined mixture. Similarly, when we sift our lives through the mesh of gratitude, we remove the lumps of discontent, envy, and bitterness, resulting in a heart that's pure, joyous, and aligned with God’s will.
Being grateful, especially in adversity, is not about being dismissive of pain but about finding light even in the darkest tunnels.
