June 14th: Kindness's Ripple Effect

June 14th: Kindness's Ripple Effect

Luke 6:31 - "Do to others as you would have them do to you."

Consider kindness as a small pebble thrown into a pond, creating ripples that extend far beyond the initial splash. Just as a ripple effect spreads outward, acts of kindness have the power to influence others positively. The verse from Luke 6:31 encourages us to "do to others as you would have them do to you."

Your acts of kindness can set off a chain reaction, inspiring others to follow your example. Just as a small stone creates waves that touch distant shores, your kindness can touch lives you may never meet. By sowing seeds of kindness, you contribute to a ripple effect of compassion and grace in the world.

Reflection Questions:

1. How has kindness from others influenced you in the past?

2. In what ways can you intentionally create a ripple effect of kindness in your community and beyond?

Daily Morning Prayer:

Loving God, help me recognize the power of kindness to create ripples of positive change. Guide me to be intentional in spreading kindness, knowing that my actions can inspire others to do the same. May my kindness contribute to a ripple effect of compassion and grace. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
