June 12th: Kindness's Abundant Harvest

June 12th: Kindness's Abundant Harvest

Galatians 6:9 - "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Consider kindness as a field waiting for harvest. Just as a farmer perseveres in cultivating the land, we too should not grow weary in doing good. The verse from Galatians 6:9 encourages us to "not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Each act of kindness is like planting seeds that will yield abundant rewards in due time. Even when the fruit seems slow to appear, continue sowing kindness with faith and patience. Trust that your efforts, like a farmer's, will result in a bountiful harvest of blessings and positive impact.

Reflection Questions:

1. How do you stay motivated and avoid weariness while practicing kindness?

2. In what ways can you persevere in sowing seeds of kindness, trusting in the promise of a future harvest?

Daily Morning Prayer:

Gracious God, in moments of weariness, remind me of the promise of a harvest from the seeds of kindness I sow. Help me continue doing good, even when results seem delayed. May my acts of kindness bring about a bountiful harvest of blessings in due time. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
